CrossFit Vicenza’s all-volunteer training staff leads our group classes and works with athletes to ensure they are moving safely and effectively. All CFV trainers are more than willing to answer any questions you have { as long as they are not in the middle of a workout ūüôā }.

JJ Herrmann, CrossFit Level 1 Trainer

  • Bio: JJ loves to see people thrive and overcome challenges trough fitness coaching and community. He has been involved in the fitness coaching for many years as an AFAA Personal Fitness Trainer and G.E.A.R. Indoor Cycling. He has also taken courses in the Hanson marathon method and practical applications suitable for the large-sized, overweight, and obese exercisers. A few years back he started looking for a way to stay competitive after forty and he found CrossFit. He enjoys every bit of the community, support and science behind the sport and practice. He attended the CFL1 in 2015 and had plans to attend the Aerobic Capacity Specialty Course in the near future to enhance his endurance sport coaching ability. JJ is a believer that CrossFit and functional training should be the base to any program that hopes to improve fitness and athletic performance in the Box and in every day life.
  • Favorite WOD/Movement: Running, rowing or box jumps.
  • Least Favorite WOD/Movement: Double-unders and muscle-ups.
  • Hobbies outside of the gym: Individual endurance sports like running, swimming and specially cycling.

Andrea

Andrea Morsoletto, CrossFit Level 1 Trainer

  • Bio:¬†I am an interpreter for Italian / Spanish / English languages. I have lived in Italy, Holland, England and Mexico, where I was a sailing/kayak instructor. Been playing soccer and swimming since the age of 5. In love with all team sports, different foods and cultures.
  • Favorite WOD/Movement:¬†Box jumps, thrusters, double unders, burpees
  • Least Favorite WOD/Movement:¬†Least favorite movements: handstand pushups, snatch
  • Hobbies outside of the gym: Playing and watching soccer, eating sushi and traveling.

 Bree McDougall, CrossFit Level 1 Trainer

  • Bio: Bree is a CrossFit level 1 trainer has coached since 2016. She discovered CrossFit in 2014 in the hopes to become a stronger distance runner as well as get “vacation ready” for a trip to Hawaii. She fell in love/hate with CrossFit and has been doing it ever since. Bree loves to visit other boxes, especially if the t-shirt or swag is good! Her favorite thing about CrossFit is how empowering it can be, especially to women and mommas! There’s nothing better than feeling like a badass in the gym! Bree’s been an Army wife for almost 15 years and she has 3 kiddos.¬†
  • Favorite WOD/Movement:¬†Deadlift, Jerk, or any partner or team WOD
  • Least Favorite Movement:¬†Burpees & Wall Balls, Snatch
  • Hobbies outside of the gym:¬†Travel, wine tasting, cooking, & hiking

jess

Jess Tobergte, CrossFit Level 1 Trainer, Gymnastics Cert

  • Bio:¬†Jess is a CrossFit level 1 trainer and has coached and competed in CrossFit since 2012 and been with CFV since Dec 2014. She also has completed courses to be a basic YogaFit instructor and hopes to do more training. She became hooked on athletics at a very young age and competed in Track and Field (heptathlon, 400 hurdles, and 500m) in college. She is currently CrossFiting her way through her 2nd pregnancy and has a 1yr old son, Leo. When she is not in the box, she dabbles in combatives.
  • Favorite WOD/Movement:¬†Front squat and deadlift.
  • Least Favorite WOD/Movement: Swimming, Muscle ups (the skill disappears every pregnancy), pistols
  • Hobbies outside of the gym: Hiking, Travel, Anatomy

Louis Tobergte, CrossFit Level 1 Trainer, Gymnastics Cert

  • Bio:¬†Louie is a CrossFit Level 1 certified trainer and has been coaching off and on since 2012. He enjoys Olympic lifting, firebreather WODs, and (occasionally) long-distance running. He played Club volleyball in college and still plays whenever he can.
